Colour Q 152 & Case Study- Case Yourself!

I'm combining this week's Colour Q and Case Study challenges with this card. My son & his wife will celebrate their 1st anniversary on Monday so this card is really serving triple duty. The Colour Q colours are at the bottom of this post. The Case Study Challenge was to case a card of your own. I chose a card I did for Papertrey Make it Monday a while back (pictured below) that involved dry embossing and stamping on cardstock.

For today's card I added and extra layer to the flower. The Vellum layers are Papertrey Lovely Layers Die Cuts. The flower is from a package of precut paper flowers, I embossed it for a little extra texture..
Thanks for looking!

  2. aw, a first anniversary sweet ! Love the way you worked these colours. Thanks so much for helping us celebrate over on CASE Study this week :)

  3. Great card and I love the flower!! I am your newest follower, I would love it if you would stop by my blog sometime too! Thanks for playing along with ColourQ this week!

  4. Great card, I love the embossing effect.

Thanks for playing at CASE Study this week.

  5. Both cards are so pretty, but I really love the extra details you've added on the new version. The wood button and kraft label tucked behind the flower draw your eye right to the sentiment. Thanks for joining us this week at CASE Study!
