Decorated Envelopes

If you are looking for a creative presentation for your gift cards this year, consider decorating an A2 size envelope. I decorated a set of 10 envelopes to hold gift cards and a small chocolate bar for my little nieces and nephews.
The stamps are from Verve's November release. The tiny tags I stapled near the top I stamped last year, they may be done with Stampin Up.

I used two of the sentiments from the Verve set but there are lots more, I actually ordered the whole release!
You can hang these envies on a tree using the tiny tag. Thanks for looking!

I haven't done a Colour Q Challenge for weeks and am really glad I had a chance to play this week.
The flowers are stamped with Stampin Up's Upsy Daisy and the Happy Birthday sentiment is Verve.

Paper Players 121

Happy Saturday! I made this card for the Paper Players Challenge #121 but was unable to link it up before the deadline. My camera batteries were dead :(  I really like the colours they used for the challenge and made a few more similar cards after I made this one. One of the other cards is pictured below.  Combining challenges again with the Paper Players and Case Study Challenges. The Paper Players are doing cards with a theme of Giving Thanks and the Case Study Challenge inspiration card below adds interest to a simple thank you sentiment with some great colour blocking. My card isn't as colourful but I hope you like it. Thanks for looking!

Papertrey October 2012 Blog Hop

Papertrey's October Blog Hop theme is holiday cards in non traditional colours.
I chose the colour scheme pictured below. I didn't have any Ripe Avocado ink but I used something pretty close. My poinsetta "type" flower was made with the Lovely Layers stamps and die, hopefully it looks something like a Christmas flower. Thanks for looking!

Case Study & Paper Players

For this weeks Case Study Challenge I decided to go with the vibrant orange and pink colour scheme of the inspiration card (pictured below). My Owl stamp is from The Cats Pajamas and the other stamps used are Verve.
Since my Owl is wearing glasses, I also using this as my Paper Players card for the week where the challenge is a clean and simple card using frames. Thanks for looking!

Holiday Tags, Stampin Up

I'm working on more Holiday tags. This is an old Stampin Up set that I haven't used in ages. I'm glad I decided to show it some love.
I never really did get the hang of 2 step stamping so I decided to go with a kind of messy look. Like I had a choice :) Thanks for looking!

Colour Q 156

Lots of fun colours in this week's Colour Q Challenge. I'm really glad I have Rich Razzleberry ink, been using it a lot lately. Such a nice bold colour.
I put a little stickles in two opposing corners on the card. I seem to be using stickles a lot lately too. Must be the approach of that sparkley time of year. Thanks for looking!

Papertrey September Blog Hop

The theme for this month's Papertrey Blog Hop is wrapping it up. I decided to decorate a little take out box thats been sittin' around here. The front was a little marked up so I covered it with strips of scalloped papers. The little flower and leaves attached to the clothes pin are from the Rosie Posie stamp set. Other supplies used: Papertrey large scallop die, Sweet Bush and Stampers Select White cardstocks and then some patterened paper scraps from my stash. Thanks for looking!

Paper Players 114 Sketch Challenge

I really like the sketch for this weeks Paper Players challenge.
The sentiment I used is one I had typed out in word to use on a gift tag. Its hard to see but Lovely As a Tree is stamped lightly in the background. Thanks for looking!
