Papertrey October 2012 Blog Hop

Papertrey's October Blog Hop theme is holiday cards in non traditional colours.
I chose the colour scheme pictured below. I didn't have any Ripe Avocado ink but I used something pretty close. My poinsetta "type" flower was made with the Lovely Layers stamps and die, hopefully it looks something like a Christmas flower. Thanks for looking!

Case Study & Paper Players

For this weeks Case Study Challenge I decided to go with the vibrant orange and pink colour scheme of the inspiration card (pictured below). My Owl stamp is from The Cats Pajamas and the other stamps used are Verve.
Since my Owl is wearing glasses, I also using this as my Paper Players card for the week where the challenge is a clean and simple card using frames. Thanks for looking!

Holiday Tags, Stampin Up

I'm working on more Holiday tags. This is an old Stampin Up set that I haven't used in ages. I'm glad I decided to show it some love.
I never really did get the hang of 2 step stamping so I decided to go with a kind of messy look. Like I had a choice :) Thanks for looking!

Paper Players 115

This weeks Paper Players challenge was a Tic-Tac-Toe. I chose the line with Christmas, Buttons and Red & Blue. It helped that I have those colours of felt snowflakes! Thanks for looking.
