Dynamic Duos #68

 I've miss the Dynamic Duos challenge the last couple of weeks, so I got right at this weeks challenge as soon as I saw it. For my second colour I chose a sort of rust brown, I thought the pattern on the paper went well with the doily. Stamps and dies used are Verve, I "acquired" the doily when out for ice cream last week. I got the doily off my mom's dish too so I still have another one! Thanks for looking!

Merry Monday 72

I've used Verve stamps, dies and ribbon for this weeks Merry Monday challenge. The sequins that I placed over the snowflakes didn't photograph very well. I found them in my stash (who says hoarders don't have more fun) and they are quite pretty IRL. Thanks for looking!

Mojo Monday 308

For this weeks Mojo Monday I used some Verve stamps and their Heart border die. I had to make an effort to put away the Loopy border die for a while, I've been using it on everything :) Thanks for looking!

Freshly Made Sketches 100

For the 100th Freshly Made Sketch challenge they are using a repeat of the first sketch. Speaking of repeats I see the papers I used on this card are pretty much a repeat of the papers on my last card, I guess that's why they were so handy:) So as you can see I just grabbed some of the papers from the top of the pile and a couple of Verve Plain Jane stamps and this card came together quite quickly. Colour Q 202 & Freshly Made Sketches 99

Thanks to this week's Freshly Made Sketch I was able to pull together the colours for the Colour Q Challenge and make a  pretty quick card. I used some Stampin Up punches for the circles  and a Verve die for the banner plus a couple of Verve stamps. Thanks for looking!

Here's my card for the Dynamic Duos challenge #65,yikes my sentiment looks a little crooked. May be because I snapped a crooked picture, I'll have to have a closer look at that. Merry Monday 69

The Merry Monday Challenge is back to weekly sketches and this one is simple but still a lot of fun. I used a new to me Verve  set, I think its called Glad Tidings, and the dies that go with it. Can you tell I shopped their Christmas in July sale? The larger snowflakes are stamped with Stampin Up Tempting Turquoise and then lightly stamped in Versamark and embossed  with white powder. For the smaller snowflakes that are layered on top I did the same thing using clear instead of white embossing powder. Thanks for looking!

The Paper Players 157

This week's Paper Players Fall Themed Challenge is to make anything but a card. I decorated a few little take out boxes using some Verve stamps and dies. The butterflies are cut from a coffee sleeve and you can't see them very well but I have hemp twine bows tied on the wires. Thanks for looking!
