I'm combining this weeks Paper Players and Case Study Challenges with this card. I really like the red and kraft combo in the Case Study card ( at the bottom of this post), although my card uses quite a bit more red.
The Paper Players sketch really came to my rescue when I was deciding how to put this together. Dies and stamps are Verve. Kraft cardstock and buttons are Papertrey Ink.
I have been lurking at the Merry Monday Challenge since the New Year and when I saw this weeks challenge I decided to go for it. I already had this coloured owl image left over from last years cards so this card came together really quickly. The stamps are The Cats Pajamas and the banner and classy label dies I used are Verve. Felt snowflakes are Stampin Up from a few years back. Thanks for looking!
Playing with more new to me Verve and some stuff I already had. Its fun when new and old stamp sets go together. Not the best pictures, I took them quickly because I'm giving this card to someone right way, she needs a little encouragement.
I die cut some green vellum to go behind the flowers just to soften them a bit.
For this week's Colour Q Challenge. I've made a card similar to the one I did for Paper Players this week only I didn't worry so much about the clean and simple aspect. All stampes and dies are Verve.
For the Paper Players #129 Clean & Simple Sketch Challenge. My card looks a little different because it's square. I think the birthday sentiment came from Michaels. Its my go to stamp for stamping a birthday sentiment on patterned paper. I also used Verve stamps & dies for the focal images, the flowers are new to me supplies, yay! Thanks for looking!
Still loving the chalk technique, I think I may be getting a little better at it :) Stamps are leaf die cuts and stamps are Verve. Rose die cuts and stamps are PTI. Thanks for looking!
I needed to make a Thank You card and decided to use the focal image I saw on Dawns beautiful card here.
Love the sentiment she used too. Dream Big is the name of the stamp set from Verve. The banner and label dies are also Verve. How sweet! Thanks for looking!
I was inspired by Maureen Pluts Valentine Chalkboard art here. Using the Verve scroll die and Verve stamps I copied a small part of her artwork to decorate some little boxes and cards. If you scroll all the way down you'll see how I added some of the cards to a banner. Thanks for looking!
For the Paper Players Challenge 127 Love is in the Air. I'm trying my hand at the chalkboard technique after seeing a few cards that Dawn Easton did last week. I actually made two cards but I'm calling them both my first attempt because I made them at the same time. Stamps and heart die are Verve.
For Case Study Challenge 122. The beautiful inspiration card is at the bottom of this post. The flower dies and stamps are Papetrey and the leaves and sentiment stamps and dies are Verve. What an adventure trying to upload these pictures, anyone else have trouble with blogger?
