Colour Q 156

Lots of fun colours in this week's Colour Q Challenge. I'm really glad I have Rich Razzleberry ink, been using it a lot lately. Such a nice bold colour.
I put a little stickles in two opposing corners on the card. I seem to be using stickles a lot lately too. Must be the approach of that sparkley time of year. Thanks for looking!

Papertrey September Blog Hop

The theme for this month's Papertrey Blog Hop is wrapping it up. I decided to decorate a little take out box thats been sittin' around here. The front was a little marked up so I covered it with strips of scalloped papers. The little flower and leaves attached to the clothes pin are from the Rosie Posie stamp set. Other supplies used: Papertrey large scallop die, Sweet Bush and Stampers Select White cardstocks and then some patterened paper scraps from my stash. Thanks for looking!

Paper Players 114 Sketch Challenge

I really like the sketch for this weeks Paper Players challenge.
The sentiment I used is one I had typed out in word to use on a gift tag. Its hard to see but Lovely As a Tree is stamped lightly in the background. Thanks for looking!

Case Study 109

Back with my second post today and a Case Study Challenge card.
The card we are casing is at the bottom of this post. I love Owls.
The Owl I used is from a Cat's Pajamas set.
Sentiment and mitten stamps are Verve. Thanks for looking!

Colour Q 155

This weeks Colour Q Challenge colours are from one of my favorite china patterns Old Country Roses. My sister in law has and loves this set. Did you know Royal Albert also makes a coordinating Christmas set to go with this pattern? She has that set as well and they  both look really nice together.
I used Papertrey Rosie Posie for the roses and Verve for the leaves. I put some of the roses under vellum because I only have really bright yellow inks. Thanks for looking!

Paper Players #113

The  Paper Players Challenge for the week is a clean & simple card featuring a banner. Luckily I just purchased the Verve banner die and I'm loving an excuse to use it. My banner is cut from PTI felt. The classy oval die and stamps are Verve as well. (Edit: I hope the patterned paper doesn't make this too busy.)
I did glam up the mitts a little with some stickles. Thanks for looking!

Case Study 108

I was so happy to see this week's case study challenge card (see bottom of post), it gave me the inspiration I needed to make a long overdue baby girl card.

The little critters are paper pieced. I used Verve stamps and dies.

Colour Q 154

For this week's Colour Q Challenge. I used a new Verve set called Doodled Occasions and a Verve Banner Die and Curvy Heart Die. Upsy Daisy Stamp is from Stampin Up.
Not a lot of bling on this card but I did sneak in a bit of stickle on the border. I'm giving this to my hubby so of course it had to have hearts. Thanks for looking!

Case Study #107

This week's Case Study card reminded me of a cute stamp set I have from Stampendous. It had been a long time since it had seen some lovin', I'm surprised I found it so easily.
Here's the inspiration card (below). Cute huh? Thanks for looking!

Paper Players #111

Paper Players #111 challenge is to use trees on your project. I've done some tags and will hopefully get a card done too.
I love this Stampin Up set A Tree for All Seasons.(edit: It may actually be Lovely as A Tree, I don't save the packaging LOL). The background stamp I used is Stampin Up as well.
Thanks for looking!

Colour Q 152 & Case Study- Case Yourself!

I'm combining this week's Colour Q and Case Study challenges with this card. My son & his wife will celebrate their 1st anniversary on Monday so this card is really serving triple duty. The Colour Q colours are at the bottom of this post. The Case Study Challenge was to case a card of your own. I chose a card I did for Papertrey Make it Monday a while back (pictured below) that involved dry embossing and stamping on cardstock.

For today's card I added and extra layer to the flower. The Vellum layers are Papertrey Lovely Layers Die Cuts. The flower is from a package of precut paper flowers, I embossed it for a little extra texture..
